Workshop
Students will get in touch with their identity and tell their personal story through mark-making and gesture in this mixed-media workshop.
Found materials and nature will be used to make textures on a printing plate, which will then be turned into a printed self-portrait complete with paint, collage and drawing techniques.

Class length: 3 hours (including 20 minute break).
Group size: Up to 60
We cater to any class size, however groups of less than 35 students do incur a minimum fee based on materials and educators’ time.
Classes can be held at Corban Estate Arts Centre, or at your school by arrangement.

Kites that fly our words high up in the sky. This workshop takes cues from the rich history of Protest art in Aotearoa, and asks young people what they would want to say and then gives them the tools to fly their words high for everyone to see.
