Event
Get ready for a creative adventure deep within Te Ngahere at Corban Estate Arts Centre’s Kids Arts Festival 2026!
Situated at the foot of the Waitākere Ranges, once part of Te Wao Nui a Tiriwa - Tiriwa’s great forest, this year we're drawing inspiration from the very land beneath our feet. From the towering Kauri and life of the forest canopy, through the rich undergrowth, and down to the intricate mycorrhizal networks.
Firmly focused on sustainability, free artmaking activities for tamariki will feature natural and recycled materials, as we celebrate the rich ecosystem of our native plants, birds and insects. Along with our popular West Auckland Schools’ Art Exhibition, local performances and food stalls, Kids Arts Festival 2026: Te Ngahere is where art and nature will connect!
Kids Arts Festival 2026 - Te Ngahere is generously supported by The Trusts Community Foundation and Henderson-Massey Local Board.
