Colours in a Summer Garden

This summer-filled colour workshop invites students to really explore colour-mixing with acrylic paint. Colour science, play, and fresh flower observation will come together to celebrate the mara of summer.
Students will make their own colour wheel and then use it to navigate their way from the three primary colours to these beautiful, multicoloured artworks. The garden will come to the art room with real life putiputi and vegetation to draw from. Colour mixing techniques and tricks will be taught to depict what is observed in an experimental and playful way.
