Workshop
In this mixed-media workshop, we will create imaginary landscapes inspired by the mountains, oceans and different terrains of Aotearoa.
Painting and drawing will begin the structure of these artworks, upon which a variation of fabric will be applied throughout to create a patchwork of textiles amongst the foliage and rolling hills.
A history of landscape painting within Aotearoa will support the technical aspects of our artworks, which will be balanced with the exciting freedom of layering and experimentation that comes from collage and pattern.
