Workshop
Celebrating the complex forms and textures of coral reefs inspired by our neighbours in the Pacific, this clay workshop allows for a deep dive into sculptural artistic play. This is a hands-on ceramic workshop where the students' hands craft each step. Fundamental clay skills are taught while keeping each step simple and manageable.
Each student will make a slab base which will hold its own mini coral garden and a creature that you might find flitting about in the tropical waters. There is the potential with this class to display all the pieces together to create a classroom reef community while each individual child’s work will be of course separate and able to be taken home and treasured forever.
