Exhibition
Under the Same La’ā is a collaborative exhibition by mother- daughter team Sulieti Fieme’a-Burrows and Tui Emma Gillies. Working between two nations: Tonga, which is Sulieti’s birthplace and New Zealand which is Sulieti and Tui’s home: This exhibition, features tapa, weaving and photography inspired by their projects in Sulieti’s home village of Falevai, Tonga.

Kites that fly our words high up in the sky. This workshop takes cues from the rich history of Protest art in Aotearoa, and asks young people what they would want to say and then gives them the tools to fly their words high for everyone to see.
