Step into the tiny world of Aotearoa’s fascinating insects!
In this workshop, tamariki will explore the unique characteristics of local bugs before designing and building their very own 3D insect creations.
Using Fimo to sculpt detailed heads and cardboard to construct bodies, each student will bring their pekepeke (insect) to life. To complete the experience, we'll also create textured 3D habitats using crayon, dye, and cardboard—giving every insect a unique camouflaged home in the ngahere (bush).
