Rangi and Papa : He ātaahua ēnei whenua (these lands are beautiful)

Inspired by the story of Ranginui and Papatūānuku, students will create a mixed-media landscape about land and sky.

The printing technique of collagraphy will form the background to which we will collage and draw our unique interpretation of Rangi, Papa and their children while learning about colour and composition. Each student will come away with their own mixed-media artwork, rich with inspiration of Māori origin story-telling and contemporary art techniques.

Group size: Up to 60 Class length: 3 hours (including 20 minute break)

Available weekdays 10am - 1pm.

Classes can be held at Corban Estate Arts Centre, or at your school by arrangement.
