Workshop
Introduces classical and contemporary bookbinding techniques using a range of materials.
Students will create observational drawings of the local natural environment using art processes such as watercolour, leaf rubbing and colour swatching. We will use all our senses to best document a plant, species or place and include empty pages for an ongoing project. The pages will be stitched, weaved, or tied together for students to each create their own unique book complete with a handmade cover.

Available weekdays 10am - 1pm.
Classes can be held at Corban Estate Arts Centre, or at your school by arrangement.

Kites that fly our words high up in the sky. This workshop takes cues from the rich history of Protest art in Aotearoa, and asks young people what they would want to say and then gives them the tools to fly their words high for everyone to see.
