Workshop
This vibrant print and collage workshop is weighted in observation of the native flora of Aotearoa and the Pacific.
The workshop will begin with each student creating a print by observing Kōwhaiwhai patterns and their use of details drawn from plants.
The prints will be cut into shapes of iconic West Auckland Crown Lynn vases.
Based in the tradition of still life, the second half of the workshop will create observational collage putiputi arrangements. Real flowers and foliage will be available on each table for close up observation and inspiration.
