Be inspired by a champion’s winning cup and shape your own, fully functional goblet from clay. Taking a fun, informative approach, children will be guided through the processes of
hand building clay to bring their ideas to life, then decorate with applications and colourful slips. A pottery wheel is available to enjoy throwing small vessels. Everything is glazed and fired to become useable tableware.

Kites that fly our words high up in the sky. This workshop takes cues from the rich history of Protest art in Aotearoa, and asks young people what they would want to say and then gives them the tools to fly their words high for everyone to see.
