Workshop
Inspired by a workshop run by Prue MacDougall at our Summer School 2019 programme, Leela will guide you into the magic of printmaking using light- sensitive plates exposed with UV light. The beauty of this process is that fine detail and a wide tonal range can be achieved. Participants will learn processes such as collaging, printing using solar plates and editing. Using oil-based inks, we will then create a small series of prints.

Kites that fly our words high up in the sky. This workshop takes cues from the rich history of Protest art in Aotearoa, and asks young people what they would want to say and then gives them the tools to fly their words high for everyone to see.
