This Workshop is now full.
Oreo the Rat will be our star model! With a strong start in observational drawing, you will experiment with a wide variety of mark-making materials including pencil, charcoal,
Indian ink and pastels, aiming to capture the detail, movement, and character of Oreo. We will then move into larger-scale paintings or sculpture, allowing each child to choose the direction their observation studies will take them.
The course fees include all materials, but remember… students need to wear old clothes and bring their lunch and a drink bottle.

Kites that fly our words high up in the sky. This workshop takes cues from the rich history of Protest art in Aotearoa, and asks young people what they would want to say and then gives them the tools to fly their words high for everyone to see.
