Create your own life-like mammal or sea creature from corrugated card. For inspiration, we will look at the famous corrugated iron sculptures of New Zealand artist Jeff Thomson. The creature you create will be painted using both vibrant and more muted colours, depending on the “personality” of your creature! Then finally, we will create a cute environment for
your corrugated card masterpiece to live in.

Kites that fly our words high up in the sky. This workshop takes cues from the rich history of Protest art in Aotearoa, and asks young people what they would want to say and then gives them the tools to fly their words high for everyone to see.
