Workshop
Let’s Get Real will give a good overview of observational drawing in graphite, looking at techniques for light, shade, rendering and how to draw the different surfaces/textures in your chosen subject. More than anything we will be learning to see! Students will be given an array of different images to choose from to create their best realistic graphite work on quality drawing paper. The skills learned in this class will provide a good foundation for future art studies.

Kites that fly our words high up in the sky. This workshop takes cues from the rich history of Protest art in Aotearoa, and asks young people what they would want to say and then gives them the tools to fly their words high for everyone to see.
