Workshop
Explore and discover art-making through a series of playful exercises that encourage self-expression, focus and relaxation while developing solid understanding of observational, perspective of experimental free-drawing skills. A wide range of mediums including graphite, pen, ink, pastel and charcoal on a variety of paper weights, will be used to explore line, gesture, composition and the use of positive and negative space.

Kites that fly our words high up in the sky. This workshop takes cues from the rich history of Protest art in Aotearoa, and asks young people what they would want to say and then gives them the tools to fly their words high for everyone to see.
