Join us in Henderson's Catherine St Plaza for a free vibrant and creative community print workshop! Inspired by the beauty of Aotearoa's flora and traditional kowhaiwhai patterns, we'll guide you through the process of creating stunning foam board prints.
You'll get to print your designs onto colourful sugar paper, taking home your unique artwork. This free workshop is suitable for all ages and skill levels. It's a fantastic opportunity to connect with your community, learn new skills, and contribute to the revitalization of Henderson's town centre.
Plus! Be among the first to see our brand-new artwork, ‘Ngā Putiputi,’ specially created by local artist and Corban Estate Art Centre Educator, Penny Howard for one of the vacant shop windows. This installation aims to bring a burst of colour and joy back to Henderson.
Tutors Penny Howard and Jean Stewart are both local artists and Art Educators at Corban Estate Art Centre.
