 Seeing the City

For our tamariki of Tāmaki Makaurau the city scape and its shapes and colours make up their home environment, their tūrangawaewae.

This workshop is designed to teach students that their everyday city surroundings can be valid inspiration for landscape art.

Taking a mixed media 2d and 3d approach, this workshop will explore model-making, textural painting and observational drawing. Each student will get to take home a 3d multimedia maquette.

Please note that this workshop can be tailored to suit your school area.
