In this workshop we will explore a range of exciting printmaking techniques, and combine them to create our own hanging patterned bird sculptures. Create gorgeous textures in layers with monoprint and relief print techniques before using the resulting prints to build ornate bird mobiles to hang from the ceiling at home.

Kites that fly our words high up in the sky. This workshop takes cues from the rich history of Protest art in Aotearoa, and asks young people what they would want to say and then gives them the tools to fly their words high for everyone to see.
