Workshop
You will have lots of colourful fun with embroidery artist Lina Castro as you create your own drawn and stitched designs on fabric. Learning how to safely thread, knot and stitch with wools and threads, you will also attach a variety of beads to enhance your imagery before securing fabric to a hangable panel, ready for the wall!

Kites that fly our words high up in the sky. This workshop takes cues from the rich history of Protest art in Aotearoa, and asks young people what they would want to say and then gives them the tools to fly their words high for everyone to see.
