Workshop
Learn about the practices associated with Māori arts whilst creating a Marama Taonga in this all day workshop. Using grinders, drills, wet and dry sanding, and polishing tools participants will design and carve their own pendant. Traditional Polynesian binding and lashing techniques will complete the pendant ready to wear.
Please bring something for shared Kai.

Kites that fly our words high up in the sky. This workshop takes cues from the rich history of Protest art in Aotearoa, and asks young people what they would want to say and then gives them the tools to fly their words high for everyone to see.
