Workshop
Art and science combine to create sculptural forms. Examine the ways you can transform a 2D image into a 3D object. We will explore the structure of molecules to inspire a body of work using the methods of sculpture to make wire organisms. We are all made up of cells and energy, the plants around us, the stars in the sky, the earth we live on, the humans we are; we are all a huge mass of cells and energy. Be inspired, share and enjoy this visual conversation around cosmology and the science of nature.

Kites that fly our words high up in the sky. This workshop takes cues from the rich history of Protest art in Aotearoa, and asks young people what they would want to say and then gives them the tools to fly their words high for everyone to see.
