Workshop
Beginning with drawings of faces and character development, students will then cut, glue and tape cardboard constructions of their invented faces together before adding layers of paper and glue for a robust and smooth papier-mâché finish.
The characters will then be painted and embellished with markers, strings, sequins and feathers to enhance their individuality.

Kites that fly our words high up in the sky. This workshop takes cues from the rich history of Protest art in Aotearoa, and asks young people what they would want to say and then gives them the tools to fly their words high for everyone to see.
