Workshop
In this unique and personalised workshop, master embroidery artist Lina Castro will start us off with the design of a motif of two or more interwoven letters that make up our initials, or someone else’s for a personal gift.
Once settled on the monogram design, we'll learn some basic stitching techniques to embroider this onto the end of a pillowcase. The finished result will be a specially personalised item, all ready for dreamtime.

Kites that fly our words high up in the sky. This workshop takes cues from the rich history of Protest art in Aotearoa, and asks young people what they would want to say and then gives them the tools to fly their words high for everyone to see.
