Anything ‘unusual’ is good enough for our designs! We will make our very special dessert bowls from soft white clay. The vessels will be adorned with 3D applications, carvings and colourful decorations. A pottery wheel is available to enjoy throwing small vessels too. Everything will be glazed and fired to make all works durable and usable.

Kites that fly our words high up in the sky. This workshop takes cues from the rich history of Protest art in Aotearoa, and asks young people what they would want to say and then gives them the tools to fly their words high for everyone to see.
