Mamaku Jewellery is a range created by Argentinean born jeweller and designer,Julia Marin.
While she studied Jewellery Manufacturing and Design at MIT, she describes most of her practice as being built on self-taught experimental training, trial and error. Her pieces combine the use of precious metals, pounamu and gems within a minimalist design, showcasing excellent attention to detail in their finish.The pieces are unpretentious yet bold, with effective simplicity resulting in effortless charm for the wearer.

The Mamaku Fern (Cyathea Medullaris or Black Fern) is one of Julia’s favourite natives ​and also honours the name of her furry buddy ‘Maku’, who passed away a few years ago and is deeply missed.
