To kick off the beginning of Te Pou Theatre’s 10th annual Kōanga Festival, Whānau Day is a fun day celebrating storytelling in all its many forms and to create whānau memories to hold and cherish forever. Packed with activities, performances, food trucks and more, bring the whole whānau and celebrate the return of Spring!
Held between 7-28 September the Kōanga Festival lays the foundations for new Māori storytelling to thrive in Tāmaki Makaurau. Featuring a host of workshops and events to bring audiences and artists together in a programme brimming with theatre, music, knowledge sharing, free whānau fun and kōrero.
