Holiday Hounds

To celebrate the launch of our newly refreshed Saturday Gallery Club, we're holding a fun School Holiday activity where kids get to exhibit their artwork in growing exhibition of dog portraits in honour of resident canine, Mr Macky McCracken!

Macky has recently been made the honorary mascot of Saturday Gallery Club, so we thought an exhibition of him seemed like a worthy tribute.

Come along to the Gallery Shop reception or the Coffee Studio cafe downstairs, borrow a few drawing supplies (or feel to bring along your own!) and if you can't find Macky himself mooching around the Estate, then feel free to take inspiration from some of the images displayed in the Shop - or right here on Macky's own web page!

All the artworks will exhibited until after the holidays, when Macky's human (the famous sculptor Dave McCracken) will select his favourite. The winning artist will WIN an official Saturday Gallery Club prize pack (including a Keep Cup full of delicious fresh coffee for Mum or Dad thanks to the Coffee Studio - in support of Plastic Free July AND because kid's always get the prizes!)

Terms and Conditions

• Portraits can be done at home using your own materials and these images as inspiration (or take your own photos of Macky if you spot him!)

• Only portraits displayed in the exhibition will have the chance to WIN the official Saturday Gallery Club prize pack

• All exhibition entries must have: the artist’s name; age; guardian’s email address and phone number provided with the artwork

• The winner will be announced Wednesday 19 July 2023
