Workshop
With a focus on storytelling and spontaneity, this workshop presents self-portraiture in a fun and contemporary way.
We will invite students to unleash their imagination and creativity by painting themselves in dynamic and action-packed scenes depicting their wildest goals and dreams, or simply doing the thing they love best.
Drawing inspiration from contemporary New Zealand artists, we will discover how each has added their own distinctive twists to the self-portrait form.

Available weekdays 10am - 1pm.
Class length: 3 hours (including 20 minute break).
Group size: Up to 60
We cater to any class size, however groups of less than 35 students do incur a minimum fee based on materials and educators' time.
Classes can be held at Corban Estate Arts Centre, or at your school by arrangement.

Kites that fly our words high up in the sky. This workshop takes cues from the rich history of Protest art in Aotearoa, and asks young people what they would want to say and then gives them the tools to fly their words high for everyone to see.
