 Navigate My Way

Inspired by the wonderful work of West Auckland Māori contemporary aArtist Warren Pohatu, this workshop is filled with colour and pattern-making.

We will discuss some of our native creatures such as the Kuaka (Godwit) or Tuna (Eel), who navigate their way around the planet along unique migration pathways.

Using Pohatu’s bold style of drawing, students will learn about creative illustration and pastel techniques using bright Caran d’Ache pastels on black paper.
