For the last 4,000 years, precious metals have been a big part of Latin American culture with filigree at the meeting point between ancient cultural knowledge and the introduction of new techniques through Spanish colonialism.
Also known as Wire Wrapped jewellery, Corban Estate resident artist Eloiza Montaña will be guiding kids through the process of making their own Sterling silver creations in this hands-on jewellery workshop.

Kites that fly our words high up in the sky. This workshop takes cues from the rich history of Protest art in Aotearoa, and asks young people what they would want to say and then gives them the tools to fly their words high for everyone to see.
