Watercolour Zines: Imaginary Worlds

Join visual artist Marina Grey these school holidays in our hands-on watercolour zine workshop designed for creative 8-13 year olds!

Diving into the vibrant world of watercolour, we’ll learn the basics of its application, and use fun inkblot techniques to discover hidden characters and shapes. We’ll design an original imaginary world, paint unique characters, and write an accompanying text onto four A4 sheets.

To bring it all together, students will learn how to hand-sew their pages with a needle and thread into a custom16-page A5 booklet zine to take home. It’s the perfect blend of painting, storytelling, and bookbinding!
