Make Your Mark: Fabric Painting Tote Bag

In this immersive school holiday workshop with Cristina Giraldo, children will transform fabric into living canvases through colour, movement, and play.  
 
We’ll begin with fabric dyeing, exploring saturation, layering, and organic textures, then we’ll shift into expressive mark‑making with bold lines, rhythm, gesture, and emotional interpretation. 
 
To finish, each child creates a personalised calico tote bag using fabric 
inks, building on the techniques they’ve learned. Art games and mini 
creative challenges keep the session playful and imaginative, and 
everyone leaves with a unique, functional artwork they’re proud to carry 
home.
