Flowing Fabric: Marks in Motion

In this immersive holiday workshop with visual artist Cristina Giraldo, children will explore the magic of transforming fabric into living canvases.  
 
Beginning with fabric dyeing, students will experiment with colour saturation, layering, and organic textures. Once their fabric has dried, they’ll move into expressive mark-making - painting bold, gestural lines that echo movement, rhythm, and emotion. To keep creativity playful and dynamic, the session will include art games and mini challenges designed to spark imagination and interpret emotions.
