Workshop
This two-day workshop combines the historical and cultural significance of totemic art with individual creativity. Participants will be encouraged to express their own cultural roots, thoughts, emotions, and personal narratives through clay and the hands-on experience of clay sculpting.
Tutor/ ceramicist Cat Guevara is a member of the latina arts group Sur-Collective.

Kites that fly our words high up in the sky. This workshop takes cues from the rich history of Protest art in Aotearoa, and asks young people what they would want to say and then gives them the tools to fly their words high for everyone to see.
