Workshop
Have fun with classic acting games and exercises that explore body movement, using voice and storytelling through theatrical scenes.
Under the guidance of experienced drama teacher Tessa Mitchell, children will work in groups, pairs and solo; finding and forming narratives and characters through the use of costume, masks and props.
Two fun days full of confidence building and self expression, on the second day the children will perform a parade through Corban Estate Arts Centre.

Kites that fly our words high up in the sky. This workshop takes cues from the rich history of Protest art in Aotearoa, and asks young people what they would want to say and then gives them the tools to fly their words high for everyone to see.
