Botanical Monoprinting

In this one-day monoprint workshop, we’ll begin by taking a short hikoi to the edge of Corban Estate, to sit on the heritage brick wall, spying the Opānuku stream through the trees, and collecting interesting leaves, grass stems and wildflowers.

These foraged natural collections will then be used to build possible compositions, that will then be inked up using jelly plates to create a series of beautiful monoprints.

Please bring a full lunchbox and drink bottle dressed in clothes that are allowed to get dirty.
