This term class with artist James Lawrence, explores
abstract painting concepts and techniques utilising acrylic
paints, gels and additives.
Demonstrations and discussions will cover colour, form
and composition as each week is filled with discovery and
painting adventures.

In Henderson Park there lives a colony of Pekapeka-tou-roa—tiny bats flitting through the night, feeding on insects and roosting in the giant ancient trees. In this workshop, students will explore the habitat and behavior of our native long-tailed bats before creating their own zoetrope.
