Let your imagination run wild in a hands-on, playful holiday workshop where experimentation leads the way.
Using watercolour, ink, collage, pens, and stamps, young artists will explore a range of materials to craft expressive abstract artworks.
With guidance and freedom to create from visual artist Cristina Giraldo, kids will dive into a world of colour and texture, uncover new techniques, build confidence, and bring home a masterpiece that reflects their unique creative spirit.

In Henderson Park there lives a colony of Pekapeka-tou-roa—tiny bats flitting through the night, feeding on insects and roosting in the giant ancient trees. In this workshop, students will explore the habitat and behavior of our native long-tailed bats before creating their own zoetrope.
