Idle Window by Darryl Chin traces the private rituals of his digital life. A multi-channel installation drawn from screen recordings and camera roll fragments. Rabbit holes, open tabs, distraction and play when no one else is watching.

About the artist

Darryl Chin is an interdisciplinary artist based in Tāmaki Makaurau, of Singaporean Hakka Chinese descent. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours) from the University of Auckland. His practice spans moving image, installation, and performance, exploring how digital processes, and systems materialise in space through projection, objects, and time-based media.
