Drop-in Whānau Play Session

Join us in the gallery to experience the group show Kia Manahua te Wāwāhi Tāha an intentional space created for tamariki to explore.

Our artists invite whānau to be immersed in the exhibition and respond by contributing to the exhibition itself through play and materials collected from our natural environment. Held as part of Kids Arts Festival 2026, this workshop will include making-stations up at the Homestead Galleries and is an opportunity to meet and greet our artists. This gallery programme is supported by Auckland Arts Festival and Kids Arts Festival 2026.
