Tyrun presents Fall In Love Again - NiuEP Screening

Come along for an evening of music, language, and storytelling. Tyrun presents Fall In Love Again, a visual EP that holds space for both English and Vagahau Niue—woven together through pop and R&B.

Three songs from the EP come with visual works, each one subtitled in Vagahau Niue. Made with support from the Moana Reo Media Fund, this project is a small offering toward something much larger: the revitalisation of a language facing an uncertain future. For many Niueans in the diaspora, distance from home and generations shaped by efforts to assimilate into Western culture have meant a growing disconnect from the language of their elders. Language lives in song, in story, in the spaces we make for it.

Tyrun made this work thinking of those who might feel far from home, or from the language of their ancestors. Music reaches us wherever we are. This is an invitation to listen, to see, to sit with what it means to fall in love again.

Join us from 6:30pm at Opanuku Studio for light snacks. Tyrun will share a few words from 7pm, then we'll settle in to watch. We'll close by 8pm.
