– A Call to Action for Kauri and our environment through waiata and story

Throughout time, music, waiata and story-telling has been essential to passing on knowledge, understanding and histories related to peoples relationship with forests, birds and the environment.

This event is an opportunity to listen, to share and to learn more about kauri and it’s importance to our existence. Performers will present new and old works via taonga pūoro, waiata, experimental compositions and through story-telling.

An event in support of The Kauri Project exhibition – Tāne Te Waiora / Shall we work together?
