Kia Ora Shorts 2023

In celebration of Matariki in Tāmaki Makaurau, you’re invited to our Kia Ora Shorts film screening to experience Te Ao Mai Nga Whatu Māori, the world through a Māori lens.  Showing a selection of short films from filmmakers of Māori descent, each story will take you through a rich and soulful journey to offer a nuanced connection with the world we all share.  

Join us as we embark on the waka of Wairoa Māori Film Festival and journey into Tikanga Māori, recognising whanaungtanga such as Manakitanga, Wairua and Kotahitanga now more than ever.
