Open Arts Day 2024

Join us for a vibrant day of art, creativity, and community at the Corban Estate Arts Centre’s Open Arts Day on Saturday, 12th October. From 11am to 3pm, visitors are invited to immerse themselves in a range of cultural experiences, explore our creative spaces, and connect with local artists. 
 
Throughout the day, you can: 
• Tour the Homestead Galleries: Discover our latest exhibitions, showcasing a diverse array of artistic talent. 
• Meet Resident Artists: Visit open studios where you can chat with our resident artists, gain insights into their creative processes, and even purchase unique pieces directly from their studios. 
• Indulge in Food and Market Stalls: Enjoy a selection of delicious offerings from food trucks and browse an eclectic range of market stalls featuring handcrafted items and artisan goods. 
• Visit Shed 2 for the Waitakere Arts Exhibition: Explore works from local artists in this community exhibition that highlights the rich talent of the Waitakere region. 
• Experience the Pacific Arts Centre: Step into this vibrant space to learn more about the traditions and contemporary practices of Pacific arts and culture. 
• View the Sunday Girl Exhibition in the Barrel Store: Take in this thought-provoking exhibition that blends art and storytelling in a unique setting.
