Morning People is back with a FREE early morning party to mark Pride in West Auckland ๐ณ๏ธ๐
On Friday 27th February, Morning People are taking over the Barrel Store at Corban Estate Arts Centre - a raw, brick-and-iron former wine barrel store we turn into a rave cave for one morning only. As Pride flags line Henderson Main Street, we’ll be down the road getting loud, sweaty, and dancey before breakfast.
On the decks, Leetifah - a proud queer, non-binary, genre-fluid DJ who plays straight from instinct. Their sets cut through global sounds, baile funk, Aotearoa bass, millennial edits, RnB/soul, amapiano and Afro rhythms - layered with basslines, breaks, UKG, and shades of deep, disco, melodic house and techno.
Rooted in whakapapa and queerness, Leetifah brings groove, warmth and big dancefloor energy ๐ฅ
As ever, Morning People is alcohol-free, open to all, and fuelled by the lovelies at Altezano Brothers coffee, All Good bananas, and Karma Drinks, and is supported by the Auckland Council Whฤnau and Corban Estate Arts Centre as part of PrideFest Out West.
Nab your FREE ticket now below before they disappear! Please note, to share the love tickets are limited to one ticket per order.
Alcohol free, dress to sweat
