Community Hāngī Picnic

Join us as we mark the closing of the Matariki Festival for a shared feast with whānau and friends. Bring the whole whānau along, purchase one of our hāngī dinner plates or B.Y.O night-picnic nibbles to enjoy together around the embers.

Hāngī is an important tradition and was once, and still is part of community life, sustaining people across time and generations. Don’t forget to bring warm clothes, a picnic blanket, and your guitar!
