 Call for Proposals 2027

Call for Proposals 2027 opens on Monday 1 June 2026

The Homestead Galleries at Corban Estate Arts Centre presents a high-quality exhibition programme showcasing local West Auckland artists, national and international artists, curators and creatives. Embracing a diverse range of visual art, the annual exhibition programme is an opportunity to connect with our local arts community and the wider arts sector including a full range of free gallery programmes.

Our Call for Proposals round opens every year and provides an opportunity for practitioners of any artistic discipline, whether applying as an individual or collective, to submit their work for consideration by our Curator and Exhibitions Manager. With a higher priority given to emerging and mid-career artists, curators and creatives we seek proposals that support dialogue, contribute or respond to our local community and diversify audiences.

The Homestead Galleries is the original homestead of the Corban family who arrived in Aotearoa and established the Corbans winery in the late 1800’s and it is now a Heritage Listed Building. Within the Homestead are three exhibition spaces: Gallery One, Gallery Two and Gallery Three (note that Gallery Two and Three are accessible through an open doorway that can be used as one conjoint exhibition space). Exhibitions generally run for between 6-8 weeks. We encourage any questions or queries regarding the process of submitting an application.
