An evening of original word-based performance by young people. Be in the audience to hear young singer-songwriters, poets and rappers present their own original work. Yes, it’s a contest with prizes to be won! Plus!! Cypher at half time, bust out your best freestyle, prizes to be won.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce our decision to cancel the Word Up Finals for 2021. The safety of all our contestants and staff who work on this event is paramount and we do not feel confident we can provide this with the current Covid Delta outbreak. We have informed all our wonderful finalists for 2021 and we sincerely hope they will return to enter again next year.
