Everyone loves to gaze at the stars. What about creating your own dreamy imaginative starry night using watercolours?
Have fun creating a bone carving in this - tikanga based contemporary workshop. Learn a new skillset through the carving design process, using grinders, drills, wet and dry sanding techniques as well as polishing tools. Then learn some lashing and binding techniques, traditionally used throughout Polynesia.
"I have no hesitation in recommending this workshop to whoever is wanting to learn about creating a Taonga from bone. Maha Tomo showed us how to sand, grind, drill, carve, polish and bind our pendant. He has a wealth of knowledge and I learnt so much." - Previous participant of Maha Tomo's workshop Marama Pendant.
